Aitor Marcos is an assistant professor of business economics at the University of the Basque Country. He is also affiliated with the Wrigley Institute for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Southern California. As a behavioral-ecological economist, he investigates the norms, beliefs, preferences, and structural factors that shape resource and energy demand. His recent work has focused on the limitations of promoting individual behavior change to transform sustainable consumption patterns.
