Arnold Tukker

Industrial Ecology at the Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML), Leiden University, Netherlands

Arnold Tukker is distinguished professor for inter- and transdisciplinary sustainability research and professor of industrial ecology at Leiden University. He served a maximum term as Scientific Director of Leiden’s Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML) from 2013 to 2022, overseeing a growth of the institute from some 50 to 170 staff, including PhDs. He led the EU Sustainable Consumption Research Exchanges (SCORE!) network project, which formed the inspiration for starting the SCORAI Global and European networks.
