Lucie Sovová is assistant professor at the Rural Sociology Group of Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Her work revolves around alternative economic thought and practice, particularly in relation to food and agriculture. She is interested in food provisioning practices that are not only more environmentally friendly, but that also create distinctive socio-economic relations geared toward well-being of more-than-human communities, care and solidarity.
