Mirja Mikkilä works as an associate professor (tenure track) of business economics of forestry at the Department of Forest Sciences, University of Helsinki. She holds also an adjunct professor (Docent) position in Sustainability Science, LUT University. Her expertise covers sustainable management and utilization of natural resources, sustainable systemic transition, environmental economics, natural resource economics, corporate responsibility, and sustainability.
