Saamah Abdallah is program lead for sustainable wellbeing at the Hot or Cool Institute in Berlin. He has worked in the fields of well-being and beyond GDP since 2006, having co-developed the Happy Planet Index and worked on several other alternative indicators of progress including the Index of Sustainable Economic Welfare and Eurostat’s Quality of Life indicators.
