Teresa Marat-Mendes is a full professor in architecture and urbanism at ISCTE, at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism and a senior researcher at DINÂMIA’CET. Teresa’s research activity is centered on the following areas: architecture and urbanism, urban morphology, urban metabolism, urban design, urban sustainability, food systems, water and agriculture in urban planning, and Portuguese architecture and urban planning in the 20th and 21st centuries.
