Thomas Webler is a senior research fellow at the Social and Environmental Research Institute in Massachusetts. His research focuses on community engagement in decision-making about risky and controversial technologies. He was a Fulbright Teaching Scholar at Pondicherry University in India on biodiversity protection, a Breuninger Fellow at the University of Stuttgart on the topic of cooperation, and a senior fellow at the Institute for Applied Sustainability Studies in Potsdam Germany.
